Dale great photo's!!! I had to mention that the one of the early Doughboys is one that I have not seen before. Did you notice the rifles and gear? They were issued Krag-Jorgensen rifles, one of the first bolt actions used by the US. Those are SpanishAmerican war issued canteens and they have the M1903 eagle snap Mills belts. Good Show!!

The Krag had a fixed rightside mag. The whole mag was hinged at the bottom, opened and spring loaded for five 30-40 rounds. The US adopted the rifle in 1892 and used it until 1903.
