It helps to know why we are doing this and how. We do this as a remembarance of those who made the scarifice, and remember the average soldier. Their were awhole lot more of the privates than officers. We need privates, they are the backbone. Can't do this without them. It's important to be just one of the guys, and believe me alot more fun. We are just getting started, so it's no time for sargents, or officers. The day will come when we will need them. So take pride in being an average soldier, do well and you might be the leader someday. We will earn the respect of the other organizations and they will want to join us. So we will lead the way. Over the top!

not sure if I'm going British or French yet, but does anyone know where to get the French uniforms? I know shipperfabrik, but I'm not sure I have $425 to spend. For British stuff, I was planning on WPG.

Right now it's from Paul Schipper. He is an old time reenactor and very big on getting it right. So his stuff is one of the best both in price and in quaility. Great War is still around but pricey, they do all the impressions as Paul does. I have a GW uniform set. One guy I have not heard from in awhile who was good is Alan from AEFsupply.

Now we have repro uniforms being made in China and India. I am researching the sites as many started out making WWII uniforms. With this new fangle contraption the computer it makes it a whole lot easier to see what they have. I have posted elsewhere some of my stuff and plan to add photos of my uniform stuff, both in it and separate.

If you noticed I'm trying to do the average Marine. It's not easy when the average weapons are not avaiable. That's why I chose the M97 Trenchgun. It's simple inexpensive to convert a current riot shotgun. I'm still working on my Springfield and the idea of trying to build an Enfield is a headache waitting to happen.
