If your going to make a rifle make a G98 or Springfield because they will also sell to my comerades on the WW2 forum as well as here. I personaly have no intreast in buying a new rifle as I supply my own army with weapons and I'm getting the PPSH when it comes out. And back off if you want to build a mosin cuase thats my Job!!! ;D ;D

Duely noted, Jericho one Springfield. That's a project that I think is worth looking into. If you can think of a good base gun, bolt action, pass it on.

Totally agree! One never knows if there is another one out there as well. So it pays off to ask. Unfortunetly I might have lead some of you astray by recommending 2nd Batt's rifles. Be prepared to do some extra work on any of them, if you go the rout. I did and I am still working on it and upgrading it. It's all cosmetic work. Still I am holding out for a friend of mine who is even better at it. When he gets his life straighten out and back to work on the guns, I want one from him. He's a member of our group. So hang in there and hopefully we will see some great guns from him.

A heads up for you Springfield builders the place to get the rifle parts you are looking for is SARCO firearms. The basic stock is about $75.

I will be asking TG to do a step by step build of a base airsoft gun into a Great War gun. I think some of our past postings show some of this.

Good idea, we have alot of do it yourself talent on this board and, if we are going to get this going we are going to need to make almost everything ourselves.

Well to start out you may have to use a standard bolt action as none are made by any manufacturers. May I suggest using a WWII K98 to start out with, as it is the closest you will find to what we would use. Also if you can find one the price is easy on the old wallet. For right now we are very forgiving on the types of airsoft rifles used.
