I live in Connecticut, and me a a few colleagues have recently been contacting countless civil war and revolutionary war reenactment units nearby about a proposed airsoft league. This league will be a Victorian Era airsoft association, both reenacting history while playing a competitive airsoft game as it seems your association does. I have heard back from only 3 of the approximately 6 or so reenacting regiments, and 2 have shown interest in this project which i am very excited about. I am hear looking for New England based members to possible get involved with this project and even help organizational processes, etc. I cannot explain every detail of the rules, regulations, locational designations, etc, in this one message so i erg you to ask questions if you are interested in helping out and getting involved.
Just to eliminate any doubt about this: we will be focusing on the Boers Wars region of the Victorian Era in this project, so many of the fire arms you use for WW1 you may also use in this.

Also- Heres some advice, with the ww2 events here in ct, try mixing airsoft with blanks, it makes it a lot more fun and realistic

it would be both Boer wars most likely, and if anyone has any ideas for how to get this somewhat popular, at-least among the history buffs of New England, please voice them here. the small amount of people that actually appreciate this concept are wonderful but unfortunately not enough to have any event of significant size.

Do local modern events and get people interested in the style. That's how ww2 airsoft started!

This sounds like a great idea, and I would be up for it! Anything I can do to help, just ask; it would be great to get involved. I live in Connecticut too... I have never done anything like a reenactment though, so I don't really know what to expect (and I don't really have much in terms of experience to offer).
