Just thought I'd post a list of semi-automatic rifles used in WW1 to liven up the forums. First is a very interesting German weapon the Mondragón rifle.Mexican built and the worlds first automatic rifle and used throughout the war with either an 8 or a 20 round box magazine or a 100 round magazine as a light machine gun with a heavier barrel. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondrag%C3%B3n_rifleA nightmare for enemy troops in trench raids I should guess! The next are two rifles field tested by the British army but never used in combat, the Farquhar-Hill rifle and the Huot Automatic Rifle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huot_Automatic_Rifleen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farquhar-Hill_rifle
