Much more advanced than an SKS! 400 rpm in a time of bolt action rifles and revolvers! Thats almost as fast as a Maxim!

Fedorov saw much more action in russian civil war after the bolshevik revolution, and only few thousands were manufactured until 1924. It was extremely rare in WW1, even more rare than the german SMGs in WW1. Finns also captured some Avtomats in the last weeks of Winter war (poorly equipped reserve units of Leningrad military disrtict...), i have seen one in museum. V. rare.Only 500 built before the end of 1919 and less built before 1917 and only given to elite Red Army soldiers in WWII.Welcome to the forums(:
