From the back cover of the 2011 ICS catalogue. Looks like a WW1 era short magazine Lee Enfield could be in the works ?

Hey Ian could you provide us with alittle more info on the company? like the web site. I never heard of them and it's interesting. Great news on the SMLE. Were the Royal Marines involved and did they carry a SMLE?

Website is here but there is nothing on there about the SMLE. As it was the standard Brit rifle of WW1, the Royals would`ve carried them. www.icsbb.com/index_e.aspx

I know you will stay on top of this for us. If they decide to make the P17 Enfield I hope your the first to know. My granddad had an EddyStone P1917.

Sorry lads looks like ICS made a mistake with the pic on their catalogue, they`re not producing an SMLE. It`s going to be a WW2 Garand hence why they`ve labelled it an M1. They say that there is no plan at the moment to make an SMLE but they may consider it.

Dale that's sad news. But there still may be a chance. At least you still have the chance to produce a one-of-kind rifle for the market. What are the possiblities of using the guts from the new Mosin Nagant to build a SMLE? We have a company down south in Texas that deals in alot of seconds. If they get the new Mosin Nagants, I'm sure there will be a few seconds that they would sell for less. (Seconds being rifles that have some flaw)
