A good friend of mine in RS(real steel) WWI has formed a Russian unit. I invited him to do the same unit here in AS. Believe me that these guys can do a GREAT impression and are all about helping everyone out. So those who have been on the fence about a Frog impression here is the answer. The Rusky's wore French uniforms and helmets but used their own weapons. If you have not seen it one of the best looking rifles in AS is a Russian Nagant!

Really tempting, but I have to stick to American. Maybe someday I'll ave a good Eastern Front impression together, though.

I have seen that Russian WW1 and WW2 weapons are usually 600$ up even for a handgun.

Now that Russian rifle, the Mosin Nagant, in airsoft is the Carbine. That's a WW2 style, so we would still have to get the longer rifle stock. Sportsmans Guide has that rifle in a parts kit for $100. These rifles were used by the French and the Frogs outfitted the Russians.

Well it's been awhile and now they do make the long rifle and one with a scope. The rifle price as I last saw it is only $369. Not bad if you have the money. I don't. Unfortunetly with this economy in the lowest end of the trench, we are not going to see any more guns beinging made, and those that were out there will soon be gone. Bright side the cost may come down when they realize how bad the econ is and can't get rid of what they have. Hang in there.
