Supposing we were to have a game take place on a large piece of field, a couple acres worth, and it was tilled ground? Now, the re-enactors would arrive, and have taping put down to give a basic idea of the structure of there trench, and each would be allotted a particular amount to dig. The opposition would not know what the enemies works looked like, and both would begin digging at night, and by morning, hopefully have their trench completed, so that they could shoot at each other. During the digging, each side would be allotted two patrols they could send out to find out about the enemies trenches, and either they would succeed in doing so, or they would have those patrols eliminated, and not have the casualties to help work on the trench. Just some ideas I threw together while checking on the forums, I'd love some feedback.

That would be fun, dont forget to give them wooden boards to make walkways and bridges. if you tilled it each time you wouldnt be able to make a high quality trench with bunkers and mg nests...

anzac you are getting alittle ahead of yourself. The ideas are good and hang on to them. But first things first, your impression! Also what are you going to do about a gun. Then you have to work on HOW you are going to get to an event (that sounds better then a game). Most of us live in other states. For me it would over 8 hours just to get to KC where Jake is at. I have probably the best chance for an event here in the Joliet, IL. area. It's a paintball park with trenchs that they don't use much. I say that because the paintballers are more interested in the full size town built there. So lets work on playing the part first. The meeting will take place later.

True. I apologize, I've been looking at Brit?Aussie uniforms for the past few days, it's hard to find big enough clothes for me, haha.

And they call me "TooTall". Just remember that they never get bigger than the old man. Or so I have been told. I'm the same height as my father, but they shrink as they get older. Guess we will have to make those trenchs alittle deeper, on both sides!
