Hey guys, post in here places to buy impressions and equipment. If you know of any other helpful sites, feel free to post them here: www.schipperfabrik.com/-expensive, but top of the line quality and cut. Excellent reproductions. www.greatwar.com/Scripts/default.asp- I have no experience with this vender but there seems to be some great deals on uniforms and equipment ANT-Z militaria on ebay also sells reproduction uniforms. I've only seen German uniform though. www.ima-usa.com -this site has many items that are dated from the Great War, both reproduction and originals. There are some great deals, but quality can sometimes be poor. www.sartoriaequipe.com-website in italian, Remo does seak english so if you wished to do an Italian WWI impression, there is none better than SE's. Copy's straight from originals and uses Italian GV wool for his reproductions. Expensive but worth the price.

Here's another one for items that can be converted. Sportsmansguide.com I have a current day Russian gas mask that I converted to a useable one for reenacting. So there is alot of stuff we can use.

AEF supply is a very bad choice. Unless Alan's gotten his supply lines figured out you could be waiting along time for a uniform. There are issues all over the place with his stuff, check the wwI reenactor vendor guide www.ww1rcg.com/

That's abit unfair, Alan has run across some bad times. While it may be wise to give him a while before ordering anything. I have dealt with Alan for years, he has had a good product. Checkout all sources first before making any onesided decisions or statements.

I spent two years waiting for stuff from him, and it was still wrong. people should take that into consideration when going for the good deal.

It's your own fault for letting it go for that long, and Alan should have told you it may take awhile. I know I had problems getting ahold of him, so I made the decision to wait. Even after I had talked to him. Sorry for what happened to you but live and learn. Next time contact the source before ordering anything to make sure they can get you what you want. I just recently talked to a friend TG and he was unable to do the job I wanted. So contact them first and start a conversation, work a deal.
