Been thinking about this for a while and finally got my hands on a router and a few bits. Lines aren`t ideal but its a bit more period looking than the DE M50 I based it on. Whole thing is only three bits of wood, two bits of metal and a piece of rubber inner tube as a barrel band. Whole thing took maybe a couple of hours to make and another hour to stain/paint. First time I`ve used a router so I was a bit cack handed, with a bit of practice I reckon I could`ve done the whole thing in an hour and a half.

Personelly I liked the first one you made better. Your arsenal is growing, so is mine. Your ahead of me in the photo department. What about the P14 Enfields? We reffer to some of them as Eddystones.

Cheers for the feedback guys. I tend to agree, this one isn`t as nice as the no.4 I did. The base gun for this was a DE M50 which has that awful checkering on the stock. I did rush this a bit as I didn`t think I`d get to grips with the router so soon. Now I`ve had time to stand back and take a good look at it, I`m gonna fill the checkering with some car body filler, redo the fake woodstain and redo the magazine as it looks too short because of the lump on the stock.

I think this would be an excellent one to use in the trenchs. I would not be afraid to knock this one about, and you know that is what happens to stuff you use in the field. My problem is I make them to be displayed but are not tough enough for the field. Your on the right track!
