Great video! Most of what you mentioned has been discussed here. Much like everyones lives right now everything is on hold. When this economy gets much better you will see almost everything starting to come back to life. I think we all need to understand that this IS a depression, only a different kind. Just hang in there, like the rest of us, and keep finding great stuff like this Utube video. Semper FI!!!

Welcome solider this site is currently not as populated as it once was, ww1 and ww2 reenacting have kind of slowed down, keep reenating ww1 and when this mess gets cleared out then ww1 reenacting will get back on its feet and the site will be repopulated.

Hello! Im mike from Los Angeles, California. Ive always found an interest in the Great War. I currently do World War 2 Airsofting, but Ive i always wanted to do a WW1 airsoft scenario. My friends and i have played ww1 airsoft type games in my backyard. We would dig multiple trenches and foxholes, and use spring guns and 2 AEG m14s with low batteries to resemble ww1 weapons. At the moment, im working on a WW1 USMC impression. Overall Im glad to see people comitted to World War 1 Airsoft.

Got to give us more than central MA. That's so if we have anyone else in that area we can help link you up. Right now if you want a German gun that we are using for starters just about any WWII K98 bolt action. I can modify it later if you wish to a G98. As part of our heads up, Sportsmansguide is selling G98 stocks, if you want to attempt the mod yourself. I can do it for a reasonalbe price. Stay tuned to the site and read some of the past postings.

I am from the ww2 forum. I am trying to get a german unit together with some friends, but I need to get confirmation on who has joined. Once we actually have a unit we will decide if it will be ww1 or ww2. If we go for ww1, expect a lot more from us in the future. east coast rules!

Hello everybody,
My name's Jason. I'm based in Oklahoma and have been primarily involved in British/Commonwealth impressions for WW2 (have been running CBI and Western Europe loadouts and am working on a Palestine/Mideast/Sicily khaki drill set). I have been in talks with a couple other people about building a Vickers MG section for WW1 and early WW2 palestine/mideast, but right now it is just in the dreaming phase.
The Great War is certainly an interest of mine and I would be excited about any large group games/op's that would be worth travelling for. There's not much of a historical interest community in OK at the moment - a few WW2 guys who show up at skirimshes and ops to look shabbily out of place amidst seas of multicam, molle, and M4's. It will be a long time before there are any Oklahoma WW1 "teams."
However, this is more of a long-term interest and it would be a long time before I have the time and cash to put together a solid WW1 kit. My main goal in joining this online community is to keep in the loop and to see if I can be "plugged in" or help in any way to further the Great War Airsoft community in general.
Glad to meet you all, and Merry Christmas.

Greetings Lord Berry, I am afraid there is very little activity on this forum anymore. The main posters and organisers , oberst18, tootall etc. have left or gone inactive, however I believe oberst18 is still active on the ww2aa forums under the name oberst42. He is the founder of the forum and if you wanted you could talk to him about restarting the forum as there is definitely interest in WW1 airsoft. Welcome to the almost dead forums
