Did a little more work on the booster. The spring cover has got to go. At the risk of sounding immodest I do think this is turning out well and, the next one will be better. This is just the prototype.

Nothing new to report for the moment, haven't had time to do anything but, go to work and, try to grab a little sleep for the past couple days. Hope to get some done tomorrow, stay tuned.

Redid the booster and, the bipod (went with a late war tubular type) was going to make a sheet metal erzats model but, had an old bycycle frame so...

Have a weekend off for a change but, it's mothers day so, between my wife, mom and, mother in law don't know if I'm going to get alot done tomorrow. I did the top cover, part of the rear sight and, did a little detail work today. I'll post some more pics. tomorrow getting close to working on internals.

Top cover, steam hose fitting etc. Having some fit up problems with the top cover.

Where did you get your specs? Are you working from photos, measurments or other info? I ask because your work seems so dead on to the original.

Mostly from photos. I had a few specs. and, used them to try to get everything else in proportion. There is a real one at the museum here in town but, it's not on display anymore why, I don't know they said it's in storage But, I did get a good look at it before so, I'm also working from memory a little.
I'm going to try to talk them in to letting me take some measuremants and, compare the one I built.
On a funny note, my mom saw it when she came over for the big mothers day dinner and, thought it was real ;D.

Outside is pretty much done, still fighting with the spring cover a little. Time to start seriously thinking about my internals.
